The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) supports and maintains the technology infrastructure and services for the Bowie State University Community. DoIT provides technical support and services for applications, communications, and technologies for the academic and administrative environment including PeopleSoft Financials, Campus Solutions, Human Resources, email, network wired and wireless access, etc. Additionally, the division provides access and maintains the Open Computer Laboratories located in the basement of the Thurgood Marshall Library.
DoIT enables our customers and stakeholders to dramatically improve business performance by achieving interoperability between diverse technology systems and the streamlining of business processes. Business process integration is important at DoIT to foster effectiveness in performance and realize student success. DoIT is committed to attaining the highest level of quality and integrity in services and relationships with students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We will accomplish our mission with a proactive approach to identifying, sharing and resolving issues promptly and courteously in an ongoing effort to implement best practices to seek service excellence through a continuous quality improvement process.
