Description: 

Bowie State University employees may request a loaner laptop from the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) for business purposes only. Employees must meet the eligibility requirements to receive a laptop. Laptops may be borrowed for up to three months; the department will be charged for the laptop if the device is not returned on the due date. Only one device can be checked out at any given time.

Who's Eligible: 

• You must be a current employee of Bowie State University.
• Your existing device is not working.
• Your existing device is being repaired.
• You need a device while traveling or for an event.
• You need to work remotely and don’t already have a device to take home.
• You are a new employee, and your department-purchased device has not yet arrived.

Requirements:

• Your area Vice President must approve the request.
